  21. This is something I do all the time.
  22. I took a spare scsi drive (500megs) put it in an EXT case and
  23. hooked it up to one of the Flyer busses.  You can pigtail the
  24. drive if you have a loop thru on you main HD case and if you
  25. have a centronics to centronics cable.  Flyer format the drive
  26. and go into the Storage dos driver drawer and double click on
  27. the correct icon (FC5, if the drive is hooked up to the Flyer C
  28. bus on SCSI ID 5).  Then copy the clip to this new drive and
  29. 'Move it on over'.  remember the ID on your system so you can
  30. open up the disk on the other system.  If you don't remember
  31. just open Flyer format and you will see it ( BUT DON'T FORMAT
  32. IT).
  33.     You can also use a SyQuest or Bernoulli, to move the
  34. clips.  You will always get the best results if you hook it up
  35. to the Flyer bus, not the Amiga SCSI bus.  Also most 4000
  36. owners don't have an Amiga DOS SCSI driver.
  37.     Also make sure you are both running the same version of
  38. the Flyer software and you both have the Flyer drives formatted
  39. under the sane Flyer version.
